Hi there! How’s it going?

The burgundy pants. Without a doubt one of my  favourite items of this winter. I paired it with a sleeveless, gold-buttoned shirt I got at Primark (there’s only one in Belgium, in Luik) and black heels!

The necklace with small black beads is from a local store in Malmö, Sweden, the teacup ring is from a local store in my hometown, Ostend and the feather ring which I believe already popped up in other posts, is from Forever 21. I’ll be happy to give you the exact names of the stores if you send me an email or follow me on twitter by clicking here.

By the way, there’s something *reeaally* special coming up for the next blogpost, as I’m teaming up with a very talented make up artist! So exciting! To be notified of new blogposts, you can subscribe by entering your emailaddress on the right side.

Hello you!

SO… There are a few reasons why I love wintertime. Namely: boots, faux fur and.. the fact that this time of year most brands release previews for their summer collections, exciting!

But that’s for in a few months, for now, we still have time to endulge in soft and warm fuzzy fabrics and wear those boots that make us melt!

During winter, me and my beanie hat are inseparable, but what I want to know is what your favourite winter accessory is! Leave me a comment below!

Hey guys!

First post of the new year!! I hope you all had a great New Year’s Eve!! :)

What better way for me to *embrace* my femininity than by pairing up my favourite heels with a dress I got at Forever 21 and a soft cream coloured blouse (H&M) with little hearts splashed all over! The accessories are from a local store in Malmö.

Oh and get this! One of the bloggers I follow also used the same exact blouse in one of her recent posts. Her blog is amazing!! Check it here: http://itscamilleco.com/post/15613150924/prime-time

I’ll try to post more on a regular basis in 2012, promise! :D

Heyyy y’all

Every season has its charm. They each have those unique things that makes them special (who does not enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with EXTRA whipped cream during a cold winter afternoon? ;) ) However, there is only one month left ’till my favourite time of year (Christmas!!!) and I have put away all summer outfits, colours and sandals in the back of my closet.

So now it is time to bring out those fake furs (of course!), leather and boots!!

You might remember that colourblocking was a trend this summer, right? Well, a lot of leading blogsites and fashion magazines have been encouraging readers to continue that trend during fall/winter. However, I’m more traditional and I love to go back to basics when winter comes around.

I just love the minimalistic look every now and then. Also; nude make up has been tipped off as what’s happening this winter; which is kind of a relief, after all those crazy colours we were overflown with during the summer months.

On the other hand, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve obviously call for a more festive approach (soooo excited.. for real!).

Hope you’re all havin’ a great weekend! :) And let me know what your fall must have are.

Sweden calling!

I spent a few days at my family’s house in Malmö, Sweden and today we did a trip over the border to go sight-seeing in Copenhagen! It was the first time I went to visit Denmark.

And I must say… It fulfilled all my expectations! The people here are sooo much more aware of fashion than in Belgium, and it is really nice to see such a variety of styles! Honestly, everybody looks like they are on their way to a casting…

We went to see the famous statue of the Little Mermaid, the Marble Church and of course we took a stroll through the Strøget, one of Europe’s longest car-free shopping streets! And wow, you could find almost every store here! From Louis Vuitton to Topshop to the more ‘traditional’ stores like H&M and Zara, Copenhagen has it all…

My Scandinavian adventure continues! I’ll keep you posted.

Hey guys!

The boyfriend blazer has been tipped off as one of this autumn’s must haves, and I came up with this combination! You know I love colour so I had to add a little purple tube skirt to add a feminine touch to the look.

Oh, and I also got a new pair of wedges!! We’re inseparable :D

In addition, I picked out a cute black leather bag with studs, to make it look more edgy.

I know it’s been a while since the last post but that’s because I was busy with some exams at school, but they’re finished now so there’s more time to blog!

Also, I’m leaving for my trip to Denmark & Sweden soon, and if you really want to stay updated, be sure to check out and follow my Twitter!

Hey guys!!

Remember the River Island dress-post? This time, I combined a blue floral dress with my favourite pair of sandals from this season. I felt so happy to feel some sunshine after a long gloomy period here!

These pictures were taken in Bruges, where I took a stroll with a good friend of mine, who also happens to have a blog! Check out ‘Kickzzone’, here.

You guys can be expecting a different scenery for my pictures later, because I’ll be off to Denmark and Sweden next Sunday!! I’m so excited to go on that trip! I always say that ‘travel is my first love’… I just love going places and discovering new cultures (and, let’s be honest, their food! :D ) This will be my first time to explore Scandinavia.

If you happen to live there, or have any tips, you can leave them under this post or email me at fashionoclockblog@gmail.com

Can’t wait to see what the trip will have in store for me (literally :p )

Hope you all had a great 1st day of what appears is going to be a sunny September!

I guess summer is really over here in Belgium. (Wait, when did it start?)

I spent yesterday studying for an exam I have on Sept 5th, however, during my break… I ended up strolling in the Japanese Garden in Ostend with my studypartner and had some fortune cookies. (See the last pic below, guess I’m in for a treat!)

Can an afternoon get even more Asian?

You know that feeling when you’re into something new?

I recently bought a clutch, something I had been planning to do for a looong time. I’m really happy with it because whatever outfit I’m wearing, it just gives that extra elegant touch to it. I love it because mine has a fab unusual colour and because it’s a superfeminine accessory, a real must-have for all you ‘girly girls’ out there!

Clutches come in all sorts and sizes (and prices, unfortunately..). However, mine has a perfect score on all these areas!

I guess sometimes you just get lucky.

Oh, and I also bought this tiger necklace yesterday. Just to add some edge to it, ha!

Have a great Sunday,

xoxo

I believe that celebrating art, any form of it, is something we need from time to time.

Remember that post about how your voice matters? That works in both ways, it is not only about expressing, but also listening/seeing someone else’s efforts to get their voice out there.

“I think cinema, movies, and magic have always been closely associated.” – Francis Ford Coppola

One of my favourite art forms is cinema. If you live in Ostend, you probably know what I’m referring to. From September 2-10, you can go watch a broad selection of movies during the Filmfestival of Ostend. I couldn’t think of a better way to end the summer!

I’ve listed a few trailers of some movies what I believe are ‘must-sees’.

Click here to see the complete schedule and to order tickets!

See you in front of the big screen? Find me behind a big bucket of sweet popcorn!!
